Hi, friends! ๐งก
This one is a little diary entry from two very different autumn days at home: one sunny, one gray and rainy. Both were slow, cozy, and full of small things that make a home feel ready for the season.
Thereโs no talking in this video, just soft music, ambient sounds, and my subtitles. So grab something warm to sip and settle in.

What happens in this video
โ๏ธ Day one: the sunny day
-
Hanging a family memory board in the kitchen for the kidsโ schedules, school papers, and upcoming tests. In next post Iโll show you my no-drill method how to hang the board on the wall.
-
Caring for my plants and trimming the tired branches.
-
Trying kitchen towels from Action for the first time.
-
Unpacking our little box of Halloween dรฉcor and hanging the fall garland I sewed myself (an oak leaf, a chestnut, an acorn and a fly agaric mushroom ๐).
-
Swapping the spring frames above the sofa for the paint-by-number paintings the kids colored last year, plus autumn leaves.
๐ง๏ธ Day two: the gloomy morning
-
Baking cookies straight from the freezer on the last school day before the break. Wait for my next post Iโll show you how to easy bake from a freezer.
-
Hunting through my cookbooks for a cinnamon roll recipe.
-
Making homemade breadcrumbs from leftover toast bread in the cooling oven.
-
Resetting the spice cabinet: wiping, checking expiration dates, and refilling jars.
-
Rearranging a shelf and making a crystal vase lamp with a battery-powered string of lights.
And Sandy is there for all of it, naturally. ๐ถ

A little tip from this video:
Portion your cookie dough, freeze it already shaped into cookies, and bake fresh, warm ones whenever you like. Future you will say thank you. ๐ช
